Live on 7 Million a year

Lamar Odom and the Lakers should come together on a 7 or 8 million dollar deal with Lamar getting an option next year so he can test free agency again. Because the NBA Salary Cap has been lowered and the Lakers Luxury tax situation, Lamar is not going to get 10 million a year from them. He deserves it but the market does not call for it. Also, not to many teams are in the market for a power forward right now. So the Lakers are essentially would be bidding against themselves if they went higher. 
Lamar should take a page out of the Ron Artest book of reasoning. "If I can't live on 33 million for five years then I can't live."

Carlos Boozer to the Chicago Bulls...it just might happen. Utah should never in a million years let this guy go. Western Conference teams and the Lakers in particular will be happy if he moves to the Bulls and the Eastern Conference.

    Nice insights! I could live quite happily on 1-2 million per year, so I think Lamar should be very happy with 7 or 8 million - especially in this economy! I don't want him to go to Portland, he needs to stay with the Lakers. GO Lakers!!!
